Salome lives with her parents and gives them a lot of happiness each day. Her mother’s name is Mirian Cardona and she works independently as a manicurist earning a salary of about $120. Her father’s name is Carlos Arturo Loaiza, and his occupation as winemaker earns him a minimum wage of $190.

Lizet is a girl that radiates happiness and intelligence.  Her mother, Fanny, serves as a housewife. Her father’s name is Nicholas and works as a winemaker earning a minimum wage of $190.

The last young girl, Juliana, has benefited greatly from your donation. She lives with her mother, Claribel, who works as an independent worker earning a salary of $90. Juliana is in pre-kindergarden.

Maria Fernanda was born on September 25, 2008 and lives in the neighborhood La Cruz with her mother and father. Her mother is a housewife and her father is unemployed. Mary enjoys playing with toys.

Maria was born on April 24, 2008 and lives with her mother and siblings. Her mother is unemployed. Maria Camila enjoys playing with dolls and bikes.

Yasbleidy was born February 29, 2008. She Lives in Medellin in La Cruz, Colombia, with her mother and five siblings. Her mother works in different occupations and the family income is about $100USD per month. Yasbleidy enjoys sharing with peers, and playing with dolls and the kitchenette.

Ximena was born on March 4, 2009 in Medellin. She lives in La Cruz with her mother who works in different trades. The family income is $125USD per month. Ximena likes to play with puzzles.

Hernan was born February 17, 2009 in Medellin. He lives with his mother who is a housewife and his father who works as a Building Official. He earns $125 USD per month. Hernan likes puppet shows and working in clay.

Darlinson was born September 18, 2008 in Medellin. He lives with his mother, who is a housewife, and his father, who is a farmer.  The family income is $75 USD. He enjoys playing with cars and bikes.

Sara was born on March 23, 2009 in Medellin. She lives La Cruz with her mother who is a housewife and her father who works as a freelancer. He earns $100 USD per month. Sara loves to play with dolls.

Juan Diego was born on January 21, 2007 and lives with his father, mother and sister in the Manrique La Cruz neighborhood. His father is the main provider for the family and has a monthly income of U.S. $297. Juan Diego likes to play with blocks of different shapes and sizes to build towers and castles (among other things), while talking and sharing with his friends.

Yoleicy was born on February 13, 2007 and lives in the Manrique neighborhood of Colombia. She lives with her mother, father and three brothers. Yoleicy’s father is the main provider for the household and earns U.S. $341 a month to support the family. Yoleicy likes to share and discuss her experiences with her friends and enjoys playing and singing, as well as playing with her dolls.

Juan Carlos was born on December 20, 2006 and lives in the Manrique La Cruz neighborhood with his mother and father. Juan Carlos’s dad earns a monthly income of U.S. $297. He likes playing with cars and racing with friends as well as making mock sounds with toys.

Alexis was born on March 6, 2007 and lives with his mother, father, sister and grandmother in the Manrique La Cruz neighborhood. His father brings home $290 a month in income for the family. Alexis enjoys creating forms out of clay and working with his peers to express their feelings of affection and respect. Alexis also likes to play with cars and motorcycles.

Didier was born in Medellin, Colombia on March 7 2009. He lives with his mother and grandmother. His mother is currently unemployed and his grandmother is a housewife. The family’s income is meager and it is therefore hard to pull together enough money to buy Didier new supplies for school.

Juan Carlos was born on December 20, 2006, and he lives in the neighborhood Manrique La Cruz with his mom and his dad. His father is the home’s main provider and he earns $287 per month. He likes playing with race cars with friends, and loves doing imitations of the sounds of the toys.

Alexis was born on March 6, 2007. He lives with his mom, dad, sister and grandmother in the neighborhood Manrique La Cruz. His father cares for the home on a monthly salary of $290. He likes to role play with his peers, where they practice feelings of affection and respect. He also likes to play with cars and motorcycles with his friends.

His mother works as a maid and earns $294 per month, which barely covers the needs of the family. Matias enjoys playing football and loves to create a world of color with his new crayons! Michael was born on September 24, 2008, and he lives in the Manrique neighborhood in Colombia with his brother, mother, and grandparents. His mother is unemployed, his grandmother stays at home everyday, and his grandfather works in various occupations. The family income is only $70 per month, which is not enough to cover the family’s basic needs. Michael likes to play traditional games and enjoys creating his own fantasy world where he is the protagonist – just like in his story books!
