Five children have new backpacks!

Dear Eddie,

Henry was born in Medellin, Colombia. He is five years old and he lives with his mother, three brothers and two sisters. His mother doesn’t work and their family struggles to make ends meet. Henry loves to play in the park and take care of his brother.

Daniel is four years old. He lives with his parents, grandparents, his uncle, his aunt, his two brothers and his three sisters. His parents and his grandfather work in different places. They earn US$70 per month. Daniel is a happy boy. He loves to sing and play with balloons.

Samuel is four years old. Mateo lives with his grandmother, his mother and his sister. His grandmother and mother don’t work. They receive about US $70 in support from the government. Samuel loves to play with balloons and cars.

Valentina is 4 years old. Valentina lives with her parents, her sister and her grandparents. Valentina’s parents work selling fruit in a subway station and they earn US$200 per month. Valentina loves to play with dolls and balloons.

Santiago is three years old. Santiago lives with his parents and his sister. His father works in a meat store and earns US$250 per month. Santiago loves balloons and cars.
