Dear Dave and Lisa,

Thank you for your donation that has provided five new backpacks for children living in Medellin, Colombia!

Samuel was born in Bello Antioquia, Colombia in 2007. Samuel lives with his parents. He doesn’t have any brothers or sisters. His mother doesn’t have a job and his father is a day laborer. Their income per month is about US$350.

Santiago was born in Bello and is 4 years old. Santiago lives with his parents and his younger sister. He loves to play with cars. His father was a policeman but now he is retired. Santiago enjoys painting his home and friends with his new colors!

David is 5 years old. He lives with his mother and sister. His father doesn’t live with them but they see each other every week. He works as watchman. His mother works in the local market. They both earn US$500 per month.

Juan is 4 years old and lives with his mother, grandmother and two aunts. He loves to play with cars and balloons. His mother and aunts work as housekeepers. They earn US$250 per month. Juan Felipe is happy to have his first backpack!

Dana was born in Bello Antioquia, Colombia. She is 4 years old and lives with her parents. She loves painting. Her mother stays at home caring for her and her father works in a small company. He earns USD$250 per month. Dana is happy with her new colors because now she will be able to paint at school!
