Five Children In Carla Cristina Received 5 Backpacks!!!

Dearest Louann,

Thank you for your donation of 5 backpacks for 5 children at the Foundation Carla Cristina. These are the five children that have been impacted by your donation.

David was born in Bello on the 31^st of May, 2006. He lives in the town of Alpes (Alps) with his parents. His father works in a store and his mother is a nurse. His family has a monthly income of $550. David loves to play football– a hobby he shares with his father.  He enjoys his new crayons and with them he expresses himself creatively through free hand drawing.

Kevin was born in Bello on the 3^rd of September, 2005. He lives in the town of  La Cumbra (The Summit) with both of his parents. Kevin’s father actually has no work at this time and his mother pays for the household expenses with the salary she earns from her job in an apparel microenterprise. She earns approximately $280 a month. Kevin loves to listen to music and learn new songs. Thanks to your donation, he is very happy because of his new backpack.

Jhonatan was born in Bello on the 3^rd of December, 2005. He lives with his parents and his younger brother in the Villas del Sol (Villas of the Sun).  Jhonatan’s father is a conductor and his mother performs various services in a domestic appliance store. Together, they earn $450 a month. Jhonatan loves to ride a bicycle. He enjoys the new crayons that came in the backpack, and with them he makes his creations very colorful.

Santiago was born in Bello on the 13th of March, 2006. He lives in the town of Araucarias with both of his parents.  His father is a conductor and his mother is dedicated to the work at home. His family has a monthly income of approximately $300. Santiago loves to build cars. He brushes his teeth with his new toothbrush. Thanks to your donation, he will care for his beautiful smile every day.

Samuel was born in Bello the 23rd of September, 2005. He lives in the town of Bellavista with his mother. His father does not live in the house with them but they spend sweet moments together whenever possible. His father’s job as a security guard requires him to work long hours and he earns approximately $300 a month. Samuel’s mother works fulltime at home and his father provides for the household expenses. Samuel enjoys creating new figures with the clay that was in his backpack.
