Heidy receives a back to school kit!

Heidy was born on April 24, 2008 in Medellín, Colombia. She lives in Manrique La Cruz with her parents. Heidy’s father, Alirio is a builder, and her mom, Maribel is a housewife that stays at home and takes care of Heidy and the household. The family’s income is only US $200 per month, which only covers the basic necessities.

Heidy uses her free time to read fairy tales, poetry and play with puppets. She also enjoys drawing.
