The Kids are really excited with their new back to school kits!

Lesly was born on February 7, 2007 and lives with her parents in the Manrique La Cruz neighborhood of Colombia. Her father earns just U.S. $341 a month to support the family. Lesly enjoys playing with her peers and dreams of becoming a teacher when she grows up. 

Juan Diego was born on January 21, 2007 and lives with his father, mother and sister in the Manrique La Cruz neighborhood. His father is the main provider for the family and has a monthly income of U.S. $297. Juan Diego likes to play with blocks of different shapes and sizes to build towers and castles (among other things), while talking and sharing with his friends.

Yoleicy was born on February 13, 2007 and lives in the Manrique neighborhood of Colombia. She lives with her mother, father and three brothers. Yoleicy’s father is the main provider for the household and earns U.S. $341 a month to support the family. Yoleicy likes to share and discuss her experiences with her friends and enjoys playing and singing, as well as playing with her dolls.

Juan Carlos was born on December 20, 2006 and lives in the Manrique La Cruz neighborhood with his mother and father. Juan Carlos’s dad earns a monthly income of U.S. $297. He likes playing with cars and racing with friends as well as making mock sounds with toys.

Alexis was born on March 6, 2007 and lives with his mother, father, sister and grandmother in the Manrique La Cruz neighborhood. His father brings home $290 a month in income for the family. Alexis enjoys creating forms out of clay and working with his peers to express their feelings of affection and respect. Alexis also likes to play with cars and motorcycles.
