Laura is delighted

Thank you for supporting La Fundación Carla Cristina. Your donation provides Laura with a back to school kit comprised of a new backpack full of notebooks, paper blocks, pencils, watercolors, brushes, crayons, and a toothbrush.

Each year, children attending Carla Cristina schools need basic supplies, which most families don§t have the money to buy. Laura’s family is no different. She lives in Bello Horizonte, a neighborhood in Medellín, Columbia with her mom, grandparents and two cousins. Her mom, Yolanda, earns a minimum wage of $150 a month.

Laura is a student at the Santa Maria de Palestina School in Medellín. She enjoys to play with her friends and dolls.
